Sleeping

Sleep

Until you become a parent no one can imagine how much sleep, or the lack of it can, affect your day to day life.

If there was one thing that shocked me when I had my first baby was the lack of sleep. I did not realise how hard it would be getting up in the night, every night, to feed James.

As much as my husband wanted to help, we chose to breastfeed and it was easier for me to get up rather than express for him to feed, plus he had to go to work and I did not work in the early days.

In this section we share the experiences of other parents and will try to offer some practical advice on dealing with sleep problems, for you and your baby.
